Responsibilities :

· Handling  procurement cycles,lead times and purchasing requirements within overall business of acquisition of goods or services,and minimisation of response time while ensuring needs are met in a timely,satisficatory and cost effective manner

· Procurement of raw materials,packing material ,plant equipment and accessories including vendor negotiation in domestic and global market

· Ensures compliances to quality,safety and environmental standards

· Planning/Budgeting/policy guidelines for purchase of RM/PM to meet production plans

· Vendor and OEM development of RM & PM

· Determine the appropriate source selection for materials,services considering cost,quality and realibility

·Work closely with project management and accounts dept on all relevant issues such as quality/delivery/payments

· Implement latest strategy and process for achieving unintruppted supply chain at best price and for best quality

· Cost reduction through development of alternate suppliers and materials

· Ensure proper compliance of Central Excise ,Custom act and rules framed and modified from time to time

· Keep abreast of market conditions ,new development and technique of manufacture

·To achieve benefits in Import/export  with updated knowledge  of law and  take cost advantage with proper tax planning

·To handle stores department and to track stores inventory for optimum level

Profile

BE(Mechanical)  with 15 years experience preferably in chemical Industries.MBA/Diploma in material management will be prefered

ERP/SAP knowledge is must and system orientation is required to ensure audit compliance.

Salary: 10-12 lacs

Candidate should know Hindi to be must
