Job Description

v  Responsible for setting up and operating drilling equipment to obtain core samples used in determining geological character of ground, nature of ore, or strength of foundation material: Labels samples of strata indicating area and depth from which sample was obtained.

v  Lubricates machines and assists in making repairs to machine and equipment, such as replacing worn winch cables, or adjusting drill stems, engines, and pumps.

v  Responsible to conduct core drilling in loose and hard strata.

v  Responsible to maintain of machinaries & its accessories.

v  Responsible for maximum recovery during drilling operation.

v  Responsible to recover sludge sample from water circulation.

v  Ensure not to struck drill rods by ensuring full water recovery from hole.

v  Responsible not to run drilling in highly abrasive strata.

Industry: Mining                                                    Education: Secondary / Higher Secondary

Desired Candidate Profile:

Ø  Aleast 10th Pass Candidate.

Ø  Must have First Aid Certificate.

Ø  Preference will be given to candidate with an experience of Drilling up to 10,000 meters.
