Role	Procurement *Planning ,Procurement & Inventory control of large variety of parts I;e Hot Forging , Cold Forging , Rubber parts & sheet metal parts. * Ascertaining  monthly Material Requirement using ERP  . *. Establishing Procurement targets; devising Purchase Plans to facilitate timely supply of  Material. *  Releasing supply schedules to Vendors to ensure on time deliveries.  Vendor Management *  Communicating  technical specifications, negotiating with Vendors, establishing cost control systems to ensure cost effective supply of material. *. Monitoring Vendor performance, implementing Quality Systems to upgrade Vendors and facilitate the supply of quality Material.  Inventory Management *. Managing Inventory operations geared towards ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve     maximum cost savings without hampering the delivery cycle of goods. New Parts Development *Development of new parts  to meet  organizational targets /objectives of new product development. * Planning * Interfacing with Sectional Heads for assessing annual / monthly  production capacities with vendors for critical components. *Creating additional production capacities with existing vendors  wherever required. *Creating additional vendor base for  critical components to meet  organizational targets /objectives.
